When is Mothers Day 2012?  This year it falls on May 13th.  Now that Easter is behind us, we begin to look toward the next important day, which is Mothers Day.

Mothers are very important people in our lives.  They are there to teach, guide, nurture and most of all, love us.  It seems they have a capacity to love unconditionally in such a way that you don’t find very often.

Mothers give selflessly to their children, putting their needs ahead of their own.  They don’t look for much in return, and very often continue on giving without even so much as a “thank you.”

So, don’t let Mothers Day slip by without showing your mom how special she is and how grateful you are for all she has done.

I think it’s right that mothers have their own special day to kick back and enjoy themselves.  Often, mothers don’t take time to do that as they are busy taking care of the needs of those around them.

And very often, they don’t spend much money on themselves.  They keep the same basic wardrobe from year to year and hold off on buying that new purchase until their kids’ needs are taken care of.
